A rare duo show from world renown Serbian Violist: Saša Mirković and Hackney-based Electronic classical composer: Gabriel Prokofiev, presenting an intimate pop-up performance in the Hackney furniture, design (and wine) boutique: Mad Atelier.
Saša and Gabriel will take you on a unique musical journey, travelling from solo viola (Bach and contemporary Serbian) through to duos of urban electronics with classical viola. Featuring music from Gabriel’s latest releases: Breaking Screens, Howl! and Litvinenko. Gabriel and Sasa performed together in Belgrade last year, and this will be their only London show together in 2024 - not to be missed.

Internationally celebrated Serbian viola player Saša Mirković travels the world performing as soloist with some of the world’s finest ensembles and orchestras. This is a rare chance to enjoy this captivating and extremely talent Violist in a veryintimate setting - at the end of his short visit to London to record with the London Mozart Players.

Gabriel Prokofiev
Gabriel Prokofiev holds a unique position at the cross-roads between classical and electronic music. His compositions instinctively combine his contrasting backgrounds in underground electronic music (he was a Grime & electro producer in the 00s), and contemporary classical (his symphonic works are performed by multiple orchestras world-wide).
